INTERNET ECONOMICS

Internet Economics

In “Internet Economics” Paolo Cellini describes the Internet as a phenomenon of world change, outlining the processes still in progress. In his presentation, the author traces the historical evolution of the Internet to understand its impact on political, economic and social behavior. The analysis explores the nature of the Internet as a meta-platform (within which other platforms such as search engines, online encyclopedias and social networks arise) and the intrinsic developments of this technology. The goal of this research is to find out how and to what extent the individual elements of the network influence business development in a digital environment.
